1. Daily Setup & Safety

  • Sturdy Surface: Always place the machine on a flat, vibration-free desk. Shaking leads to "Miscount" errors.
  • Power Up: Turn on the back switch. The machine will run a "Self-Test." If an error code (e.g., E01, E02) appears, check for dust on the sensors or a jammed note.
  • Prep the notes: Polymer notes stick together. Always "fan" the stack like a deck of cards before loading.
  • Check for Saboteurs: Remove all staples, paper clips, or rubber bands. These will destroy the internal rollers.

2. Choosing Your Mode

Mode Best For How to use
CNT (Count) Basic quantity check Counts the number of pieces (e.g., 50 notes).
MDC (Mixed) End-of-day till (AU-800/900 only) Drop a mix of $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 in. It tells you the Total Dollar Value.
BATCH Making bundles

Set to "20" for $50s (equals $1,000). The machine stops automatically at that number.

ADD Big deposits Keeps a running total as you add more stacks.

3. What to do if the Alarm Beeps (Counterfeit/Error)

When the machine stops and beeps, it has detected a "Suspect Note".
  1. Look at the Stacker: The suspect note is ALWAYS the one on the very top of the counted pile.
  2. Screen Codes: UV/MG/IR:  Failed a security test(potential fake). Check the user manual for the error details.
  3. Action: Remove the top note and press RESTART. That note was not included in the count.

4. Cleaning (The "Friday 5-Minute" Rule)

  • The Dust Problem: Australian notes are dirty. Dust blocks the sensors, causing the machine to flag genuine money as "Fake."
  • Weekly Clean:
  1. Unplug the machine.
  2. Use the brush to gently brush away the dust on the hopper(top) and stacker(bottom).
  3. Use the soft cloth to gently clean the glass sensors inside the note path.
Never use alcohol or wet wipes—they ruin the grip on the rollers.
