AU-800 Troubleshooting Guide - E10-E15 (Image Errors)

The RUNTOP AU-800 Multi-Currency Counter uses advanced Contact Image Sensors (CIS) to "read" the value of each note. If you see error codes ranging from E10 to E15, the machine is struggling to recognize the denomination, face, or size of the banknote.

Step-by-Step Recovery:

  1. Remove and Inspect: Ensure the note isn't excessively dirty, wet, or torn (see Manual Page 8).
  2. Clean the CIS: Open the back cover using the handle (Manual Page 17). Use your Soft Cleaning Cloth to wipe the upper and lower CIS sensors.
  3. Calibrate: If cleaning doesn't work, you may need a CIS Calibration. Use the white calibration paper included in your box. Navigate to the Service Menu (Password 9999) and select "CIS Calibration."

Regularly cleaning your CIS sensors is the best way to avoid these interruptions and keep your RUNTOP machine recognizing Australian dollars accurately every time.
