The Secret to Perfect Counting: Adjusting the Feeding Gap

The most important maintenance task for any money counter owner in Australia is adjusting the Feeding Gap. If the gap is too tight, you’ll get "Note Jam" errors; if it's too loose, you’ll get E2 "Double Note" errors.

Pro Tip from the Manual:
You don't need a toolkit to fix this! As shown on Manual Page 16, you can simply use one coin to rotate the adjustment screw.

  • For Double Notes (E2): Turn the screw toward the minus (-) sign.
  • For Jams/Hard Insertion: Turn the screw toward the plus (+) sign.

Rule of Thumb: A single banknote should be able to slide between the rollers with just a tiny bit of resistance. Watch our guide to see how to fine-tune your Runtop for the perfect count every time.
